A positive care environment must be promoted as it is vital in ensuring that care users feel respected and like they are an individual. This can be done through:- Promoting rights- Recognising service users as individuals- Using the CVB- Following legislation- Following policies and proceduresIf this isn't done then the service user will feel disempowered, not respected, not independent, and maybe even discriminated against.
