Antibiotics&Painkillers

Advantages

painkillers:
Drugs such as aspirin and paracetomol can be very useful for headaches or sore throats
Antibiotics:
Kills bacteria in your body
Damage bacteria cells without harming your own cells

Disadvantages

Painkillers:
No effect on viruses that have entered tissue
Don't kill pathogens-
Don't cure you any faster-have to wait for immune system to over come pathogens before you get well again
Antibiotics:
Cannot kill viral pathogens
Strains of bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics are evolving

Evaluation

painkillers are actually not as useful as you think they are. Also when an antibiotic has been in your blood stream so many times when it isn't really needed it wont work when you seriously need it.
