Advantages and Disadvantages of Absolute theories

I think that absolute theories are the best theories as they are clear and straightforward. Having a theory that is clear and straightforward can lead to it being easy and quick when making decisions - people need to have a theory that can lead to quick decision making. However every kind of theory has a its downside and absolute theories never take in account to individual circumstances, e.g. if a women was assaulted and fell pregnant and absolute theory could say that the woman would still have to keep the child and she wouldn't be able to have an abortion - this doesn't seem right. This is also why these types theories can be seen as emotionless and de-humanizing.
