I was wondering if someone could please help me to write an application letter for a job working with animals? (for kennels, grooming parlors, vets).

Id like to lay it could like this:

Dear Sir / Madam

I am interested in an opportunity to volunteer with CHARITY.

ABOUT YOU – AGE, INTERESTS, ETC

EXPERIENCE TO DATE

I have experience working with animals and would like to continue to do so in a volunteer capacity.

FORTHCOMING EXPERIENCE – Blackpool Zoo

I would be grateful if you could contact me if you have any volunteer places currently available, or if you could keep my details on file for future reference.

Yours faithfully

- Thank you :) ***

Hi :) What you've already written is really good, but you could add some more information about yourself in like: - why you like animals - why you'd be the best person for the job ((you're passionate about animals... you have loads of pets, etc :D)) Don't forget to write your letter so you sound human ^^ Hope this helps :) Good luck ^^

i wrote along the lines og -

It has always been an ambition of mine to work with animals. I have been with animals from a very young age and I think that this has proved valuable as it has given me a sense of responsibility. Animals that I have kept include dogs, hamsters, cats, mice, fish and rabbits  - I currently have a bearded dragon and a yorkshire terrier which I have keep myself at home.
I am hoping to go on to take a Zoology BSc Hons at Manchester University then to continue into a career in veterinary practice. I am currently home-schooled and take GCSE psychology, sociology, english, math and biology. Later this year I plan to start A Levels in Psychology, Environmental Studies and Biology.
I have experience working with horses as a volunteer for the RDA and I have been accepted onto a zookeeping course at Blackpool Zoo commencing 28th April 2012.

I would be grateful if you could contact me if you have any places available, or if you could keep my details on file for future reference.
