What is the effect on the rate of reaction with increasing temperature on an exothermic reaction ?

It depends on if the reaction is a reverse reaction.

If it does not reverse then increasing the temperature will increase the rate of reaction regardless of whether it is endo/exothermic. 

If it is reverse then the endothermic reaction is favoured when there is an increase in temperature due to the fact that more energy is being supplied to it.
