I have the P3 AQA exam tomorrow, and Additional maths. Just wondering who else does, and hows the revision going?

I have P3 tomorrow too :) And the revision is non-existent....  Well, we've done loads in class so I may just go over test papers. Hows your revision going??

Good Luck!

You can sort of tell how well the revision is going by the fact I have time to ask the question :). Did do loads in class too, but i can't remember anything at this point, so may give up revision and panic.

Good luck in your exam too

is there any rules ,do you have any predictions as to what exactly may come up e.g. i think a transformers calculation will come up it didn't come up on the jan paper...

You can't really predict what questions will come up, you'll just spend you're time trying to guess what will rather than learning the stuff. I think there are rules for different mirror types. Plane mirrors always produce virtual, upright same size images. Convex mirrors produce upright, diminished, virtual images. Concave mirrors depend on the position of the object. If further than 2F (C) then it is real, inverted, diminished. On 2F is real inverted and same size. Between 2F and F is real inverted and magnifyed. On F there is no image. Closer than F is virtual, upright and magnifyed. In lenses convex always focuses the light on the other side of the lense. Concave lenses produce virtual images, because the rays only cross on the same side as the object. Hope that helps.
