I know that usually GCSE results come out on the thursday after A- levels, but last year they came out on a tuesday.

The results this year (for GCSE) are coming out the 25th August.

But I have no idea for A-levels.

Hope I helped! =)

Tuesday the 6th of July for IB

Thursday the 25th of August for GCSE

Thursday the 18th of August for As and A level

It proberally depends on how many people are registered to take the exam, how many markers they have, how long it will take to mark each paper and how long they think it will take to collect in and redistribute the exam papers/Marks

They will then use this information to estimate when the papers will be marked by, and between the exam boards organise a date they agree will be sutiable for all of them.

There may be other factors but i don't know of them. Hope this helps :)

last year, GCSE results were supposed to be on the 26th August, but the examination board was late in getting candidate certificates. they moved it to the 24th August.

A level is on the 19th August 2011.
