C1.6.2 Emulsions AQA Chemistry
It is a mixture of two different liquids that can't blend and need an emulsifier to do so. Eg Oil and Water
An emulsifier is a substance that allows the two liquids to combine and stay combined rather than them seperating out.
An emulsifier is a agent which helps to bind to immisible layers (emulsions)! An example i think wuld be lecithin which is very good in mixing oils with water etc
Is it :A substance made up of lots of droplets of one liquid suspended in another liquid.????
What's an emulsifier? :S
Thank you :D
Thats ok - Happy to help!
