ability to sourt resources not just into subject and level but board and unit/exam paper also - for some subjects it doesn't matter to much like geography but in history there is so many time periods it's annoying trying to find something helpful

Crosswords - to learn the defenitions etc
Word searches where you can put in the description/defenition of the words which pop up when you have found the word or i find they aren't very useful

Ability to make mind maps - with all the key information that we need on a particular topic that is simple and snappy to revise from.
And to do this make the space the revision notes are viewable in larger so you can see more

As somebody else said icons you to show if you have read it. You could give the resource a thumbs up or a thumbs down that only you can see,
this can then be sorted to only show you the resources you have thumbs up/Not rated(ones you hae read so you don't need to reread) so you only see the ones you will find useful as some rescources might be good and therefore rated 4/5 stars but not relevant to you so the thumbs up can show you relevant stuff you have found.
The thumbs down would show you don't need it, not that it is a poor resource. then there oculd be some way to show you all thumbs down resources just in case if you made a mistake/were doing someting new in exams
Only you would be able to view thumbs up or thumbs down or only thumns up could be viewed once on the resource- it wouldn't be an additional way of ratin the source. just showing the usefulness to you.

A favourites list would also be good so youcan save them and come back to key ones

Crosswords are a great idea, I like that :)

Also... maybe a little icon of some sort next to resources you've already looked at? I keep going back through resources, and it takes ages for my slow internet to open some of the resources, only to find it's something I've already used, so a little icon, or even dimming the icon for what sort of resource it is could be time saving :)

I think it would be nice to be able to 'favourite' users privately if you have found some good resources that they have created. That way you would be able to quickly acess their page for their resources. I also like the idea of a 'thumbs up/down' on resources - which would be again private as it would help you access your favourite resources quick and easily! Games would also be very useful and it would make the site more popular!

On the Wordsearches note - i think they are useful because if one is created on keywords you will be able to remember those key words, and test yoursself to see if you understand their meaning!

It would be really helpful to be able to sort resources by exam board. Like for history, I'm always finding resources that are for the wrong exam board / topic that i'm studying, and it would be good for saving time.

I also like the idea of having a favourites menu for my favourite resources and also having an icon next to resources that I've already looked at.

And also mind mapping would be good. :)

The things you would do normally when revising. I can type quicker than i can write so if I could work effectively on a computer my revision would be quicker! Like mind-mapping is slow, but if i could type it out, it would be quicker!

On the subject discussion have an option for the different levels such as a separate discussion section for ALevels and then another for  GCSE so you can find the most relevant posts quicker

I think there should be quiz questions without multiple choice answers, because sometimes with multiple choice the right answer is really obvious. Also, the idea of games or quizzes in which you compete against other members. I think adding friends would be a good idea, not to turn it into a social netwroking site but because people find it easier to work and revise with people you

Be able to make timelines and also like someone else said mindmaps as well, as they're both really useful methods to revise :)

I think it would be good if we could be notified when somebody answers a question we have asked or have posted on, and when people comment on our resources, so that we can keep track of what people think

Yeah and also the quality of the materials checked , alot of the stuff is not very useful especially wordsearches, sorry but how do they help you revise at all?

@Tiffany, I'm working with the game, progress is very slow :S

@Lamise, Quality of materials are checked regularly, resources are moderated and rated within the hour max.  The wordsearches help you by incorporating a fun way to memorize the keywords. The normal memorizing method(repetition) is boring and not very time-efficient (You can research the psychological ideas behind wordsearches.) -If your still not convinced, give our friends at:

They need more traffic, and the site generally has a great revision center.

Thanks for the feedback.

Mmm yeah but that association is when you KNOW what the words mean, for example if i did a wordsearch about the....electromagnetic spectrum lets say, it wouldn't teach me anything i didn't know, or the properties of each wave etc., if you know what i mean, but other than that no complaints ;)

Tools/programs that allow you to write definitions for other people to see/rate. Like writing out definitions in revision sessions.
