use pascal's triangle

1 1

1 2 1

1 3 3 1

1 4 6 4 1

to gget the coefficients

then 5 ^4 + 4* 5^3 x + 6 * 5^2 x^2 etc

I'm not sure if this is the one that you want, but this is the one that I have learnt, and is sufficient to get you full marks in the exam question:

(nCr x a^n-r x b^r) x^r
