Philosophy as it is more basic fact and less personal opinion. Also tends to be less centred on other peoples views and less dates.

Personally found philosophy a lot easier, especially when it came to revising it because most of the arguments are broken down into premises and its quite easy to revise the strengths and weaknesses of the arguments once you've grasped the argument itself.

Everyone thought Ethics was easier, but generally people got better philosophy grades - for me I think that philosophy is easier as its more fact based than different views, but if you are good at one your more than likely to be good at the other! I think you should retake, why not? Both are quite easy to revise as long as you put in the hard work and effort!

Good Luck :L

I believe Ethics is a lot more easier than philosophy, because if you think about it ethics is just common sense whereas with philosophy you have to learn philosophers theories in depth and understand it and know how to apply it as well as be able to contextualise although you also do this in ethics at times

Ethics I know this because some people in my year took their exam in year 9 for both of these everyone practically found it easier. They had to take a practise ethics before they actually started learning the course and alot passed before having learnt it so I think its alot easier and seems more  interesting i'm going to be studying it in year 11 as im taking RS and am currently working on Islam.
