Hardiness training:

There are 3 stages: Focusing, econstructing and Self improvement.

the aim is to increase the clients level of hardieness and it is a form of CBT.

SIT: there are also 3 stages: conseptualisation, skills acquisition and application i the real world.

it is also a form of cbt and was proposed my meichenbaum and can be used in the future for future stressors. it is designed to help the client deal with stress whereas hardiness is designed to change their personality in order to help them deal with stress as Hardy is a type of personality.
