what is the definition of crystallisation?

I know that it is separating say salt from water...i think,....is this right?

hmmm that is a tough question to ask. Well in my terms i would state that crytallisation is when a aqeous solution evaporates which forms solid crystals in the crystallising dish!

sorry it seems to be not a scientific definition but its the best i can think of!

I would say evaporating dish but I agree with beelal that its is just really the formation of crystals! :)
