What is meant by 'form'?

For one of my English exams it asks me to comment on the language, structure and form.  I am well aware of language and structure, but I am unsure about form.

Could someone please explain what form is?

It's a lot like the structure, it means the layout and the way the piece is presented to you, the reader.

I was having an issue on writing about form, and just understanding what it was. My teacher explained it as describing how the said chapter conforms to the genre you think it is.
So if the question was 'write about the way chapter 5 is told', first decide on what you think the chapters genre is, say it was a thriller, you'd write about how the chapter is told in this way, what conventions of a thriller does the chapter have.
I hope this helps.

The form is like what genre it is. for example an article, or a diary entry, or a letter etc.
