I'm not doing the same topics but they have changed the exam paper and the syllabus quite considerably this year. The January 2012 exam paper has not yet been published online but here is what the questions were:

Sleep: 1) one explanation for narcolepsy.    2) outline and evaluate one or more evolutionary explanations for the function of sleep.

Gender: 1) describe research into social influences of gender.      2) assess the importance of social influences on gender.

Cognitive development: 1) discuss the development of children's understanding of others.

If you look at these questions and questions from the past couple of years then you may be able to see what hasn't come up in a while.

Hope this was helpful.

I'm doing Gender too and i predict either biological/psychological or biosocial as they haven't really asked those as such. I am praying it is NOT THE LATTER as I have no clue what I would do for that question. Do you have any good outline or evaluation for the biosocial approach? x
