what is involved in being a child physciatrist (becasue i would like to become one)?

i am thinking of becoming a child phyciatrist oin the future but i am not sure what it involves and how to get there. at college i am taking phycology what next??????

o, then whats the thing where you speak to children about their problems and help them if the y are struggling in life - or would that still apply to the same case

A counsellor, not sure about the qualifications other than psychology but other science subjects and maybe an english subject would be useful plus lots of work experience, there are lots of books on counselling young people.

try the BPS website explain what the career involves how long it would take and what you need to get there
