If you want the marks on the paper, then you need to write hyperinflation, as this is aspecific term which is used to refer to the economic crisis in Germany

economical boom, credit-crunch, economical downturn, devaluation, over-extension, run-away inflation, wheelbarrow economics.

Um, these are all examples of what they say on the news.

Hyperinfaltion is the rapid rise in prices. In the exam you need to write how it was caused in Germany in 1923. Write about the treaty first, Germany couldnt pay second installment, french troops invaded the rhur, Government called on passive resistance, workers went on strike, government printed more money, >> hyperinflation, money became worthless. >> rebellions :)
