Is it m/s2      or         m/s-2

Thanks :)

It is m/s2 or ms-2.

The / sign means that it is metres divided by seconds squared.

ms-2 is the same and the reason is because of indices. s-2 means that seconds are under metres and the 2 means that this figure is squared.

Do not write m/s-2 that is not right!

Oh yeah that makes more sense - I thought that maybe your teacher was awful!

Haha, ( he still is awful but not for that reason! )

m/s2 is the old way to write it but ms-2 is the new way
