Hi, for AQA PE GCSE we have a scenario which contains someone who is a young ambassador so i think we will get asked about them but we don't have a young ambassador scheme at my school and i don't know anyone who is a young ambassador. so i was wondering if any of you are young ambassadors or know what they do could you please write briefly about your roles, in and out of school and meeting etc if any- + other useful info

Thanks x

I'm a young ambassador, basically we promote sports and the olympics in our school and area, we are meant to do posters and powerpoints and assembillys to promote sport and help build up to the 2012 Olympics.  Our school has just got an 'Adi-Zone' (basically an adidas fitness zone, all gym machines and all that) and that was because of the 'Adi-stars' and 5x60 (if you have that in your school) The main priority is to get people fit and promote the olympics.
There are different stages of being a young ambassador, Bronze, Silver and Gold- gold obviously being the best, but we all do pretty much the same thing appart from Gold who have to tell the silvers and Bronzes about things in meetings and all that.

Hope this is the type of young Ambassador you needed to find out about, and hope this helps! **
