what is a non unanimous majority?

can someone please tell me what a non unanimous majority is in psychology?

Well unanimous means everyone agrees. 'Non' would mean the opposite.

So I believe it would mean that not everyone agreed, but the majority did - I think :P

It is something which occurs commonly in courts, when the jury are making a decision.
