what foreshadowing is there in of mice and men

The death of Candy's dog foreshadows Lennie's death, because Lennie is compared to an animal at times and in a way they are quite similar. It also foreshadows how Lennie will die - George shoots Lennie in the back of the head, exactly where Candy's dog was shot. There are other examples, maybe you could use the example of how it foreshadows Lennie and George's dream being destroyed? I'll leave you to work out what you could use for that one :) Good luck
