I know Mr Birling is part of the Nouveau Riche
For Gerald you say: Gerald is an aristrocrat
For Mr Birling you say he is a ..............
Please help me thank you :)
All my revision guides say he was of middle class? And you don't really need to say that sentence you can just say he was 'nouveau riche'
He is of middle class - factors owners were middle, the workers were low and people like Lord and Lady croft were higher class
No Lamise Mr Birling was of middle class but then earnt money through industry therefore he is nouveau riche.
My question is how do you put that in a sentence:
Mr Birling is a ...........
E.g. Gerald is an aristocrat
Ok thank you :)
