i just practice past papers, once you get used to writing about the techniques then they will come to you.

are you doing aqa english gcse? if you are try analyising random pieces of text you come across like adverts in magazines, analyse language, style, and structure and say what effect it has on the reader, cause sometimes its hard to find past questions.

use past papers read text and try to analysis with words like similies and metaphors use words which may impress the examier... learn as much words for and as possible also words like beacuse... trust me thet can be harsh at times... i know someone who used and in every sentence and they got  A BAD GRADE !!! just read as much as possible you cant really revise for english that much.... remember to link back to the question when its about essays dont just use PEE use PEEL
