What A Levels do you need to do Chemical Engineering?

  • 0 votes

I am currently in Year 12 doing Chemistry,Biology, Maths and German..

For A2 I am hoping to carry on with Chemistry, Maths and German.

Would that be fine?

Is there a age limit as I am only 15 and will turn 17 when entering Uni?

Wow you're young to be doing alevels!

I'm not sure about the age limit, but I doubt there is an age limit. If you've got alevels and the right grades then you should be allowed in.

As for your subjects i'd say chemistry and maths are compulsory for chemical engineering. Other than that any other subject will do. That should be fine.

Yep..Well it's just Biology and Maths but even when I try maths I can see improvement but Biology seems very difficult ..I assume its a matter of practice nd practice

I find biology quite easy. I do chem and physics too. Chemistry is ok and physics is a bit difficult but i really enjoy physics so i don't find it too hard. I want to do physics at uni too so i'm doing maths next yr.

You too. You're lucky to be a lot younger taking your alevels cause if you do badly (which i'm sure you won't) you can re-take and still be the same age as everyone else when you enter uni. takes off the pressure a bit :)
