I know exactly what you mean!

I had 2 ballet lessons per week, 5 orchestra ensembles a week, school choir for like 2 hours and instrumental practice because I always have instrument exams coming up :/

I used to be even busier...but before I broke up for the summer, I decided to quit an instrument because it was going to be so hard to cram everything in, so it meant I had 2 less orchestras to go to and more time for other instrumental practice at home.

But try to do your homework the day you get it, perhaps during lunch at school? If you ever get those homework sheets that are really easy, just basically filling in blanks etc, just do it straight away, at break or something.

Try going to some of your activities every other week? It doesn't have to be all of them, but you could try doing it so activity A you miss the first week, and then do the second week, but at the same time, activity B you do the first week, and miss the second week?

Try to utilise your lunch OR break to do the work. Do it the night that it's set and dont leave it until later. Make use of the weekends. Do all of your homework then. Eat while doing your homework. try to use housework and revision together e.g if youre studying for a language call out a verb while you are doing it. Ask your mum to lighten your chores. Speak to your teachers. Dont worry everyone goes through it

Maybe you are doing too many activities - could you consider giving any of them up? (But I know you might not be able to do that so...)

I am in a similar position to you - I do loads of clubs and live far away from school. I find it best if I get into a routine: get home, relax 1/2 hour, have dinner, do homework. Also (this is a bit annoying but if you do loads of clubs you have to make sacrifices) try to get all as much homework as possible done at the weekend to minimise the load during the week.

Try not to get into the habit of doing homework while eating - everybody needs a break and if you always do that your mind will associate eating with work!

You can even revise while doing your chores, ask your self questions and try to answer them!

Good luck, and I'm sure it will all pay off! :D

If there's one particular teacher who sets you a lot of homework, talk to him/her and see if you can have extra time for the homework, one of my teachers actually told us that if we have a lot on then if we ask he will give us extra time, as long as we kept to the extra time he gave us.
