Shud i drop as history????

i currently do as maths, chemistry, biology and history.

but history is the worst because there is just too much facts to remember. its not hard. but sometimes it can b quite boring. and the facts just dont drill into my head. id prefer to drop history and concentrate on my other three subjects. but my teachers think im capable enough to do 4 as levels

I wouldn't drop it yet. Depending on what course/uni you want to do/go to, they want 4 AS's so dropping now might not be a good idea. If you don't find it too hard, then try and keep it up.

Wait until your first exam. Your grade should indicate your next move.

If you aren't finding it that interesting then drop it, but you don't have to decide till next year so i wouldn't worry about it too much yet. Also, if what you want to do doesn't require history, then the only reason for you to do it, would be your interest in the subject.

I would if you are not enjoying it.

I took biology, chemistry, physics, extended project and history. I dropped history, and I'm glad I did. I have so much time to spend on my other subjects now. Even if you are capable - it is better to get good grades in 3 subjects. Plus most universities only look for 3 alevels anyyway.
