no because then it highlights the differences between the students, as in if they are poor. its embarassin and not needed, you wear school uniform on average for about 6 hourse during the week, people need to get over it and stop complainin

School uniform gives everyone a sense of 'equality' and 'community' in school and like Gabby said, without it, differences would be highlighted.

also, it lets outsiders know what school you're from ((so if you skive off school, people will know where you're from))

also, if you didn't wear uniform you'd have to wear your own clothes..... can you imagine how much of a hassle it would be every morning when you try to pick which clothes you should wear :P

Hope this helped ^_^

My school uniform costs too much, we have so much to buy and I had to spend about £200 in total on my uniform (including PE kit), but this is doubled because I have a sister at the same school

personally i agree with school uniforms as it stops bullying based on clothing (stereotypes)
