Well it depends on the crime. if a man ***** and murdered a young girl, then burnt her house down (let's say) he deserves cruel, harsh punishment. I will admit that the UK doesn't add long jail times for bad crimes. So in some crimes - yes.
yeah same! because have u seen the stats for the amount of people that reoffend, and the thing is in quite a few prisons they allow the prisoners to have tvs in their cells, and alot of prisoners say that going to prison is just like a holiday or a break
I believe that some people do not get a long enough sentence but in no case should someone be executed.
of course they should
why should they? what gives someone the right to take the life of another?
because people have the right of justice
people also have the right to life.
yeah exactly, so the murderer has taken that right away from someone and so they should have the same right taken of them. but there cant be infinite regression because the right to justice over rides the right to life of the murderer
doesnt that mean that the executioner should have their rights taken away from them?
Gabby, so basically what you're saying is that if someone ***** another person, the person that committed the **** should, themself, get *****??
Yeah the prisoner shud get harsh punsihment for severe cases but ur forgetting that some cases can go wrong and so someone else may be punished. Would that person deserve the punsihment???
Your forgetting the other factors that could be debated about crimes
Allimz, you go girl :D
