I have some definitions here:

Atom: An atom is the defining structure of an element, which cannot be broken by any chemical means. A typical atom consists of a nucleus of protons and neutrons with electrons orbiting this nucleus.

Molecule: the simplest unit of a chemical compound that can exist, consisting of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds. Element: A substance consisting of atoms which all have the same number of protons. So a substance which is made up of only the same type of atom.

Compound: When two or more atoms are chemically bonded together, using a covalent or ionic bond. (A compound is a type of molecule.  If the types of atoms in the molecule are different from each other, a compound is formed).

Element: A substance consisting of atoms which all have the same number of protons. So the substance is made up of only the same type of atom.

Hope this helps a bit.

I found the other definitions:

In science organic compounds contain carbon–carbon

bonds. Inorganic compounds don’t contain these bonds.
