Rich people should help the poor...

Showing 1 to 5 of 5

I propose that people with more than £1 million pounds in assests [money, value of house, etc.] should be forced to donate at least 25% of it to charity. What do you think? Is this a fair system? Would it work?

I think that this should happen as how else are the people in poverty expected to help themselves. We stop them from being able to work and get enough money to survive. Benefits are not enough for them with the way the prices keep rising and society pressures everyone into buying the most expensive things so they are 'cool'. Also, many religious members give up money all the time to those who really need it no matter how much they earn or have to live on. If they can help those who need it, surely everyone without a religion should be able to do the same, even if they are forced to.
