B5 Can someone with Blood group A+ receive blood from someone with blood group A-?

Hey guys I'm revising for biology and I'm really confused. I know that people of blood group A can receive blood from blood group A or O/ or blood group B receive blood from B or O but i'm really confused now with the whole 'rhesus group' positive negative thing.

Can for example someone with Blood group A+ receive blood from someone with blood group A-?

No because they need to be the correct Rh ( Positive or Negative) otherwise the blood will see this new blood as an issue and reject it causing problems such as blood clots in very serious cases!

actually i think you can. Blood group A can accept from blood group A.

When the rhesus factor of the recipient is positive, it means that they have the rhesus antigen.

the donor has a negative factor, so it doesn't have the antigen. i think

basically, people with positive rhesus factor can only give to t=others w/positive rhesus factor. and yeah, i think you need to know the rhesus factor for gcse. either way, my exams tomorrow, and i'm making sure i know it!
