Revision music? Bit off topic I know :P

Bit off topic, but can anyone recommend some good bands to listen to whilst revising? I find listening to music is really helpful and I like to make a good revision playlist but for ages I've just been alternating between Bastille/Mumford and Sons/Muse/Paramore albums, which is great, but I would love to listen to something new :-)

Motivational music with lyrics that help you when your down or feeling stressed. Like "dont stop me now" or something generally positive. It's no good feeling glum when revising.

listen to music you enjoy sometimes i find upbeat music best cause it makes revision more fun and stops you from getting bored but other times i listen to acoustic and instrumental versions of songs i like. but i don't listen to music if i'm doing past papers cause they need more concentration

I listen to a lot of Biffy Clyro while revising. The albums are the perfect length, varied enough not to be boring and fast paced enough to get a decent amount of work done. Also because i only really listen to them when it comes to revise i can get focussed easier because my brain associates their music with revision

Yes if you are making a playlist ever like 5 or 10 songs stick something that you can sort of imagine yelling YEAH or COME ON to if you no what i mean. Recently a song called Zoom by a band called last dinosaures did this for me while on shuffle. It was Itunes song of the week and i downloaded it and it lifted me when i heard it for the first time out the blue like that

Listen to classical music or drum and bass music, there's lots of different variations in these genres which means you're sure to find something you like - plus there are no lyrics to get distraced by so you can concentrate hard while having fun in your ears!
