Remembering Transformation Matrices? (GCSE further maths)

I'm doing GCSE further maths and have nooo clue how to remember which matrix means which transformation; anyone got a good way of remembering which is which? :) thanks!

do the matrix ABCD and time it by the unit square. It will equal the transformation of the unit square. Do the maths to work out what value each letter has; and subsitute it back into a final 2x2 matrix (which is your transformation matrix)

relflection is like a mirror so it is 2 theta.  

however I never remember which of sin or cos has the (-)
