hydrochloric acid + magnesium = magnesium chloride + water

hydrochloric acid + aluminium = aluminium chloride + water

hydrochloric acid + zinc = zinc chloride + water

hydrochloric acid + iron = iron chloride + water

they're the same but make sulphates instead of chlorides

also it is not water that is produced it is hydrogen gas

so its something like this:

sulphuric acid+magnesium --> magnesium sulphide+ hydrogen?
