Primary Education Uni interview HELP

So basically I have a Uni interview for a BEd primary Education course, and I'd like some advice from anyone who has experienced one of these interviews.

so like, what do they mainly look for, and is it really nerve-racking?

Any help would be appreciated.

I had an interview for a course similar to yours and I was asked the sort of questions that you would expect:

Why do you want to study here?

Why do you want to do the course?

Describe a recent experience...

Basically if you really want to do the course it shouldn't be too difficult because they only want to get to know you because they have an interest. Some interviews ask some really awkward questions but these are to test how you think and respond under pressure - they aren't trying to catch you out or make you look bad.

Well done for getting an interview.

From what I've heard about any interview for uni, the most important thing is to be yourself and if they ask you something that you don't know the answer to, be honest and say you don't know. Also, know your personal statement inside-out!
