Past Papers Centre and Marking Assistance

Showing 1 to 5 of 5

I think we should add an "Past Paper Centre" where there are past papers for different exam boards, levels, and qualifications. We could further improve that with adding a feature where teachers/experts on the subject can mark student's past papers. I ask for "Past Paper Centre as even on the exam board websites it is difficult to find and download a past paper, and hope that it's your level, my school is quite good as they have it on the network for us. Also when i say teacher marking it, i don't mean a teacher comes home from work and marks piles of more past papers. I mean that a teacher/expert on the subject comes home and marks one paper, not lots just one to help a student out. Then he/she sends the paper back with some good points and advice on how to improve.

Students could also mark each other's work but it should be an area in a different tab on the site as students may not be as accurate (but better than nothing). This is an alternative e.g when your on half term and cant as your class teacher, you can still be able to do past paper revision. The teachers should be able to access mark schemes to refer back to.

Certain subjects like science multiple choice and short answer questions are examples that dont need this teacher marking feature as the mark scheme could be given and they follow the mark scheme and mark it themselves.

that's a really good idea. I hate it when the only way to get past papers of exam boards is to buy them,AQA is the only exam board I can get past papers and mark schemes off.
