okay when and what was involved in the Yalta conference?

The Yalta conference took place in february 1945.

Those present were:

Winston Churchill: British Prime minister 

Josef Stalin: Leader of the USSR

Franklin D. Roosevelt: President of the USA

They agreed that:

France would be regarded as one of 4 superpowers

Germany and Berlin would be divided into 4 sectors.

Poland was to get land from Germany

The USSR would declare war on Japan (Didn't happen straight away = irritation from the other superpowers)

Stalin would allow free elections in the Eastern Bloc Countries (never happened)

Germany was to pay $20 million in reparations to the allies (mostly Russia)
