ok i got qs, pls pls answer this. 1) 25 cm3 of a solution of an acid HxA containing 0.1 mol dm3 of the acid in each 1000cm3 of solution reacts with 75cm3 of a solution of 0.1 mol dm3 NaOH. What is the value of x?

its a chem question , its just not a real substance, just need to find that value.

It's a chemistry question using moles.

You have 25cm3 of HxA at a concentration of 0.1mol.dm3.

Moles= Concentration x (Volume/1000)

Moles of HxA = 0.1 x (25/1000)

Moles of HxA = 0.0025 mol

You also use 75cm3 of NaOH at a concentration of 0.1mol.dm3

Moles of NaOH = 0.1 x (75/1000)

Moles of NaOH = 0,0075 mol

0.0075 / 0.0025 = 3     x=3
