some useful tips that works for me

  • make YOUR OWN NOTES since you are able to absorb the information in better and this means you will remember it better when it comes to the exams
  • read your text book and using the specification of your exam board to make notes about the topics you need to know. For example, if the spec suggests you to outline semi conservative replication in DNA, make sure that you OUTLINE what it is and not explain it since they dont expect you to know that
  • make notes into key themes/ topics/thinkers/theories using subheading and break down main topics i.e in Maths you might have subtopics about algerbra/geometry/numbers/shapes/stats ect
  • write key facts/processes in bullet points rather than in an essay
  • try to keep it concise/coherent/clear and address anything you are unsure to the teacher as soon as possible

hope this was helpful ^_^
