New Study Planner

Showing 1 to 25 of 44

Hello everyone,

As of September 30th, the Revision Timetable will be replaced by the Study Planner. This will serve the same purpose, but with a lot more!

Everyone is different in their approach to studying, and we aim to cater for all these needs. Whether you spread your studies out over the year, or go for the last minute cram, the study planner will help you manage your time and subjects effectively.

Features will include managing your whole year, having resources recommended for your studies, and being notified when you should be studying, or have a deadline coming up.

If you have any questions about it, or want to give feedback when it arrives, please do so here!

This sounds really great; I'm just wondering if there will be space in the planner for homeworks as well as assignments?

Posted: 20-09-13 10:43 by emscat

Hello :)

Yes there will be space for homework. You can add deadlines, which can be homework, coursework, whatever you need them to be. If you enter the date that it's due, the planner will calculate when you need to be working on it, so that's it's ready in time.

Will the new planner have times (e.g. 09:00) in the heading instead of 'Early Morning'?

Posted: 22-09-13 13:46 by Lucy

Will this be availible as an app too?

Posted: 24-09-13 14:06 by Estelle

Hello!

Lucy, yes the planner will be by the hour rather than just 'early morning' so you can be a lot more specific with your time management.

Estelle, it won't be available as an app at the moment, it's something we hope we can do in the future. :)

Love the study planner.. really useful the fact that you can put your target grade for each subject and place your exams.. helps you priotise and make a suitable revision timetable

Thanks once again !!!

And omg it even lets you select your college time and places your college time for you.. just perfect :)

I think it would be helpful if they could add a "rest" time slot between each revision period then it will help us see how long we should revise for one subject, then how long we should take a break .. hope it makes sense what I am trying to say

Hey Secret, great to hear you're finding it useful!

Thanks for the feedback, that's a great idea. We'll continue to improve the Study Planner according to what our users find helpful, so all ideas are very welcome :)

I think it would be a really good idea if, before the planner calculates our study sessions, we were asked which days we want to study a particular subject.

For example, if you know you have History on a Wednesday, you could specify to study it that night in the knowledge you will have homework. In the same way, you could specify to study the subject the day before in preparation for a test.

I dont understand how it works!!! Its not adding any study sessions once I've put in my commitments!!!

Finally figure out how to do it but it still doesnt work. Keeps telling its calculated it and added study times but it hasnt. What a waste of time, took my 2 hours to add all of my lessons and commitments and stuff for it to not work.

 Hi Tianna,

Really sorry the Study Planner has been messing you about - have you added in any exams or deadlines? that's when your study sessions will be scheduled automatically around your lessons and commitments.

Let me know if I can help.
