Motivation?!

Showing 1 to 10 of 10

I always get really stressed over exams, and tend to just go in denial and leave it till later, how do I get motivated and focused enough to do consistent revision?

hi, the best way to keep motivated is to firstly think of what your going to achieve and make yourself think that you want it like nothing else. secondly, reward yourself! you shouldnt revise for more thant 20 minutes without having a 5 minute break. in this break, have a snack or a drink, or just get up and walk around the house for a bit! either way a break is to distract your brain completely from the topic you are revising and then when you go back to studying, you will find it alot more effective. hope this helped! :D

Try searching for a pomodoro timer online to help with your studying. I find it easier to keep working when I can see how long I have left. They time you for 25 minutes then give you a five minute break, then an extra long break after a certain amount of time.

Hi, what I do is bring a sandwhich, some water, something sweet and/or cofee with me to my table so that i dont have to constantly get up. Also i stick motivational quotes on my wall such as "only as far as i reach can i go, only as far as i seek can i know, only as deep as i look can i see, only as much as i dream can i be"

so everytime i look up i see that and it sort of keeps me going. When i feel demotivated i listen to Eric Thomas tgim (thank God its monday) he's a really good motivator.

Good luck :)

I also find it hard to stay motivated...

I found that if im doing the right revision technique, it keeps me more interested.

For example i find a good way of revising for me is putting all my ideas on a certain topic onto a mind map and it usually keeps me motivated because it makes we want to fill the whole sheet instead of having gaps.

This is just what i have found works for me,

hope it helps... :)
