Mistakes in exams.

Showing 1 to 18 of 18

I have always made stupid mistakes in exams, when i didn't need to. I have learnt from those mistakes and I have made a guide for everyone on how to do well once you get into the exam hall (and just before you go in). Hopefully it will help you to perform your best during your exams :)

great advice :) I once got 96% in a geography mock and i found out later that i lost 3 marks, one was just a general mistake but the other was because i didn't include a case study cause i didn't look at the number of marks for the question sow hat i thought was a 4 mark question was actually a 6 mark question.

I have updated the document to include some additional points. Tell me if there are any other tips you think should go into it.

what you said about having a laugh before the exam does help, and also thinking happy thoughts does too.

Good idea about the happy thoughts - I've added this into the document!

i had a friend that did that in a geography exam. They thought that after the 8 mark it had finished, but there was another 6 mark on the next page.

at exams in my school they always say to us at the beginning of the exam to make sure we check the back page

in my business studies exam , my teacher advised to the the paper back to front because the most important questions are the back . and worth more marks

Yeah I used to do that in history exams cause questions with more marks are at the end of the paper

the exam papers should be more clear to where the questions are, cause its unfair on us

Just to add this is a great website for careers advice. It has a long list of jobs - including the role you would take on in the job, the wage, the working hours, contact details and what qualities you need for the job:
