Is there any tips on how I could revise for Media studies. I have got an A* in my coursework but I am worrying about the exam which will bring my overall grade down.

Please let me know what I need to know and just anything really that will help me!

Thank you everyone.

I am doing media studies too! im exactly the same i got an A* snd now i am worried for my exam! Im not concentrating so hard on revising for media and instead i am concentrating more on oter stuff like maths and science. But there is some good revision sites if you just search media studies gcse into google some helpful stuff will come up on action and adventure and the theories like Laura Mulvey and Todorov! Good Luck!

This website basically tells you everything you need to know about analysing action adventure films:  http://cdpike3000.tripod.com/camera.htm

And this one tells you what the exam is about (that's if your doing AQA media) http://store.aqa.org.uk/qual/newgcse/pdf/AQA-4810-W-TRB-U01-EXTASS-2011-AAF.PDF

Hope this helped !!!

I have a C in media studies at the moment any ideas how i could improve that to at least a b+ thankyou

Hello is this a C in your coursework? Have you got lower grades in your production work or written side of it? Because this could be why your grade is at a C due to the written or production. Let me know and I shall be more than happy to help.

Thank you 'sara' for all the help, much appreciated!

Hey,

I find it easy to revise, when my resources are colourful and 'fun'...

I used one of these "paper fortune tellers" and inside i have information.

I have found this has really helped me. I made it colourful on the inside to help me remember things.

BTW: this picture was from the internet
