Yeah dont over load your self with info, go in with a cool head and try your best! Remeber to structure your answer:

intro: effective and how your going to takkle the topic

middle: paragraphs explading your answer, (make a point, back it up with evidence)

conclusion: sum up your points

A good into and conclusion are key as the examiner reads them first and last

Good luck! :)

thanks everyone,

James I'm doing two books no one else has heard of they are Martyn Pig and Mister Pip

I did just think of one thing to make sure we do in our exam, always write about the writers technique(language used, punctuation, metaphors, similes, tone word connotations) and what it shows or what effect it has on the reader. Our teacher told us today to also try and be original if we can with our ideas.

REMEMBER PEE: point, evidence, explain! You really need to use quotes in a structures answer and also contain loads of context as with out this marks are limited!

I'm doing inspector calls (and a book called never let me go) and my teacher said themes like responsibility, capitalism/socialism, relationships and class differences could come up(in inspector calls) along with questions on any character. I just revise key quotes for each and get an understanding of the moral message of the play:) good luck everyone!
