I've only been learning German a year but if i get a B at GCSE will I be capable of doing A-Level?

what it says in the question, my target is an A but i dont think i'll reach an A but if i get a B and then do A-Level, i dont want to struggle loads and like be behind everyone

Most sixth forms allow a B. It doesn't matter if you struggle, you can always ask teachers for extra help. Why don't you try German A level and if you like it and you're good at it, carry on taking it. If you're disappointed with your grades and all, drop it.
