I have got this simplifying question; Have I answered it correctly?

Q1.  x^2+2x / x^2-4 =  x/2

Not quite:

x^2+2x / x^2-4 = x(x+2) / (x+2)(X-2) the x+2 cancel to give x/(x-2)
