When i'm trying to remember dates I write out a timeline with all the dates I need to remember and stick it on my wall so that I look at it everytime I go into my room and then they stick in my head. This is what I did for my first history exam and it really helped me remember the important dates.

Hope this helps you too :)

I have some really weird ways of remembering dates, for example I remember that the Magic Bullet was made in 1905 by pretending it costs £19.05 to buy a magic bullet from Paul Ehrlich; I just repeat that little saying in my head when I see that date. If you tell me what topics you are doing for History then I could help you if I am doing the same ones as well.

Mine are 'Medicine Through Time' and 'Germany 1919-1945'.

:D
