Next year I have to decide which one to do, this year I have done well in statistics 1, but I've heard statistics 2 is hard, I wanted to do decision 1 because I heard it was very simple, but my school wont allow me, I also heard (lol) that mechanics 1 is quite physics based and altough I enjoy that, I haven't studied it in a while, so... what do you think is my best option?
I personally find M1 quite nice, but I take physics and there's a lot of overlap. It depends on the way you think really, quite a few people in my class who don't take physics find it quite hard. D1 was a straight forward module, so it's a shame you can't do it. And finally statistics, I would go on how you found the first module. Like the core modules the second units always step it up a gear, so despite which ones you pick, year 13 definitely going to be harder :)
M1 is recommended if you're doing physics. however, S1 is surely easier than M1. if you like vectors and moving objects in maths, you will enjoy M1 so much but if you're comfortable with numbers and not taking physics, S1 is the one for you :-)
