It depends what you want to do in the future, what kind of college you're thinking of and various other factors. Can you give us a bit more detail?

6th form will help you as you aim higher, your teachers will help you if you ask them but in college you are left on your own, and it is best to consider all the options on what you are willing to do. College will help you for when it comes to real life working situations where you have to work independently, while 6th form will help you with team work.

in my opinion 6th form is easier because i have friends and teachers who will help me if i'm stuck, but i hope his has helped you. =)

It depends what you want to do now, and if they do it at your college. If your not sure, I would take a look around some colleges to see if you like them and or if they do your courses.

Depending on what your sixth form offers should determine whether you stay on in Years 12 & 13 or leave and go onto college.

If the choices are **** and do not interest you then go to college.

The benefits of going to college instead of sixth form is that you do not need as many GCSEs grades A* - C than you would if you wanted to get into sixth form.

However, some colleges do not provide the subjects that interest you and the ones that you would possibly want a career in.

Before you make any decision, I would look at the choices the sixth form give and the choices college give and see which one would suit you best.

College does prepare you for the big wide world! i think that if you goto a sixthform instead of college, you'll be so used to school life that when it comes to going to Uni, you won't know what to do! D=

i guess college helps you with that 'cause it puts you outside your comfort zone which some people need help with managing =D

Independent sixth forms are better in preparing you for university compared to ones that are attached to schools, definitely.

6th Form is tough. Not going to lie! But if you're prepared to work hard for what grades you want then it's achievable, but it's a big step up from GCSE's. My head of year said there are 60 people in our year this year, that will fail year 12...a lot of them have nothing lined up to do.

You need to think about what is best for you :) 6th form is the easiest for me, it had options I liked so I'm doing it...struggling at History and Business but Psychology and Textiles, I love! So I'm working as hard as I can for the rest so I won't fail :)

Sixth form takes discapline, but if you make the right choices and do the work, you'll get amazing qualifications and thank yourself later! Makes you feel great. anyone can do it, its not about intelligence, its as i said, about discapline and determination. If you've got drive, you'll go far. good luck!

GO TO COLLEGE! I stayed at my school and it was the biggest mistake i ever made. Staying at school doesnt give you the freedom of a college, I have lots of friends at colleges and it makes me realise how much we are treated like kids at school. If your self motivated to work college will be the most fun you have ever had
