I'm going to a well regarded sixth form next year and they've offered/recommended for me to also take a GCSE in Latin - as well as 4 full A-levels - as my GCSE forecast grades are all A-A*. They said it will help get into a top university, but is it worth it or should I just focus on my A-levels?
Any advice will be really helpful!!!! Thank you in advance! xxxx
What a-level subjects are you going to be doing? If they are 'hard' subjects like maths or chemistry then it may be wise to just focus on your alevels but then again ur gcse grades were really good so you probably are capable, but if you are doing 'soft' subjects like health and social care or sociology then maybe go for it.
I was told that a GCSE in French would look really good, but none of my unis looked at it, but I guess it depends on the course you want to do?
Sorry I don't think that's very clear
But I hope it helps! :)
